How do brides feel about making their own coffee table style wedding album/book via an online company?

I did this for my own wedding. I used mypublisher.com. It was a bit time consuming, but that was because of all the hundreds of photos I had to go through and select from. I thought it was fun because I was able to take my time and select whatever photos I wanted. I think I'd recommend this idea better, because it can be inexpensive and quicker doing it yourself. And you don't have deadlines of when you have to have photos selected for a photographer, if they do this. And to this day I love looking over my very own album I know I created myself!!

thanks for your input! Did you use images that were shot by a professional photographer and given to you on a disc? How is the album holding up? Do you feel that it is sufficient enough quality that it will be o.k. in say 30 years?

Thanks for asking this question. I would really like to know this too? I offer this as a service as I use an online silicon valley company to do the coffee table book, and since most brides do not like to design or do not have the knowledge, I provide this service. This is an inexpensive way to get a a very high quality coffe table book, at a real great price, and then be able to duplicate the same book at different sizes to give family. As long as you can get very high quality pictures professionally taken then this is a great alternative to creatibg a memorable coffee table book.

I am curious because as a photographer I offer this service as well. Do brides come to you over their photographer for doing the album for them?
