I was looking at the Avatars, and was wondering ,if having a logo has help your business? How did you think of your logo? Did you have a professional web designer help or did you have a vision? Are you happy with your branding?

Hi,

I had a graphic designer to do my logo and all the stationary elements. I have an email signature, my constant contacts newsletters came out with the design mirroring my site, which was designed by the same graphic designer, GR Illustrations . I carry the same design, including logo, colors, fonts etc., through all of my ads and other publications. I strongly believe that having business card and other literature that clearly tell what you do and is consistent through out helps branding your business. And my business card always gets very positive comments. Yes, it was quite an investment at the beginning but I am very happy with that.

Great question because branding is so essential. First, I studied my market to find out what would attract them. Then I turned to a graphic artist to create the bold, friendly, modern style of PositivelyWed.com

What I didn't know was the extent to which I'd need to carry the logo- cards, postcards, online avatars, online ads, different sizes. Then there's the idea of sub-branding. I'm developing products (ecourses, ebooks) that have names but need to fit under the original brand. I try to remind myself that, like with all things in business, it's a process. Next step- getting social media profiles all branded. It never ends...;)

Wedding Mediator,

Thank You, I like your Logo, I want to find something that isn't the same as everyone else, I want one, that is unique, but relates to the wedding and event industry and really adds a punch! Why does it seem all the good logos are taken. How much would one expect to pay for graphic artist? Where does one go to study the market? That doesnt cost a arm and a leg?

Thank you
for your reply
I take every answer, and consider it a priceless gift.
