Event Planning Incentive Program

I'm thinking of offering a program to our local event/wedding planners to get more business. I'm wondering if it would be offensive to offer an incentive to event/wedding planners for referring their clients to our company?

Hi Sequena,

I don't think this will come across as offensive. I have known some vendors who offer monetary referral programs to planners as well as other vendors. I don't know how well these programs work but they are common.

Just for your reply makes me feel like I'm going in the right direction. I'm not sure how well it will work, but I'm really going to give it a shot as see what happens. I will post again to let others know what I've found out. I mean what do I have to loose right??

Hey Paige,
We are offering a referral to event/wedding planners that refer their clients with a paid order a $25 incentive. Each of their clients will get a 15% discount on their entire order just for coming and working with our invitations specialist. We would like as many planners to send all of their clients to us for any personalized needs. What do you think?
