Google is your friend! I looked at about 50 different contracts from other photog's online, cut little snippets here and there, made my own template and sent it to a "seasoned" pro I've known for a while and had him review it. I keep a basic outline in word and then customize it for every couple I deal with, (their names, locations, etc)

 

The customized portion has actually been the touch that sold me to a few clients here and there!

You're right Google is a great resource.  That strategy works when you're starting out, but it's not a long term solution to your contract.

 

Drafting your own contract lets you include your personal values, work style and the clauses you need for your wedding business to work for YOU.  It seems hard, but it's easier than you think, especially with help.
