London, UK - Brides of Culture (BoC) is back for its fourth instalment of its unique, London based Bridal Exhibition. Taking place on Saturday 29th October 2011, this free wedding exhibition will be held at the luxurious surroundings of The Crowne Plaza Hotel in East London’s trendy Docklands.
London is a melting pot of ethnic diversity; a city with a culturally rich population*.
BoC is a London based wedding e-channel and Bridal Exhibition that seeks to celebrate the cultural multeity of this vibrant city. With a dedicated website which serves as an interactive e-channel for brides and grooms from all ethnic backgrounds, Brides of Culture seeks to go beyond the usual, mainstream wedding planning portals.
Its founders, Abi Laditan and Kemi Osinloye, discovered that there was a definite niche in the wedding planning sector through their own experiences. From planning their own “Big Days,” they found that it was extremely difficult for brides and grooms from ethnic backgrounds to have easy access to information related to their culture. They created the BoC website in 2009 to provide useful tips, information and advice as well as details of local and regional vendors to meet the wedding needs of a diverse mix of brides and grooms; from across Africa, the Caribbean, Asia and The Mediterranean. The Brides of Culture Wedding Exhibition soon became a much needed addition to the e-channel; attracting wedding vendors who were keen to tap into this niche market. The Brides of Culture wedding Exhibition held in April 2011 attracted over 200 delegates and 22 major wedding suppliers.
The testimonials and feedback from delegates and vendors alike have encouraged Abi and Kemi to make the Brides of Culture Bridal Exhibition October 2011, even bigger and better than ever before. The fourth exhibition will have an estimated 500 delegates in attendance and capacity for up to 25 wedding suppliers. BoC is set to make its mark on London this Autumn.
