Are you using Linked In and if so, how has it helped your business?

I have been debating if I should use Linked In. I hear about other wedding professionals using this social networking avenue, but have not really used it, even though I do have an account.

For those that are using Linked In, how are you using it and how has it helped with your business?

I'm using linkedin, it's help with networking so far but to be honest I meet more vendors using other social networking venues

I have an account as well but don't use it all that much. I do know that it can be a great tool, I just have so many others I'm using no one particular one gets a whole lot of attention.

It can never hurt - the more places your website is listed, the more you build your social network the more traffic you'll get to your site and the more your name gets out there. When promoting yourself online quantity is just as important as quality - hit the right site and it can make all the difference, but having yourself out in as many sites as possible is just as effective.
