Any advice for a male in a female dominated industry?

Just wanted to get thoughts and advice and opportunities to network in the industry.

I recently started an online business to sell wedding favors (www.platinumgoodies.com) -- just looking to network and get advice from all the others in the industry. Looking to get noticed and at the end of the day, would love to just provide great service at reasonable prices.

I'm in the Northern VA area - and would love to network with others.

I would recommend you joining as many vendor websites as you can to showcase your favors. WedSpace, Wedding Wire are also great resources to show case your favors and network with others. Definitely create a facebook, twitter, blog as well and attend as many event shows as you can.
