Celebrate Spring with Brides of Culture’s Free Afro-Caribbean Bridal Exhibition
January 2012- London, UK - Brides of Culture (BoC) is back for the fifth instalment
of its unique free Bridal Exhibition. Taking place on Saturday 10th
March 2012, this free Afro-Caribbean wedding exhibition is the only one of its kind in London and will be held at the luxurious riverside surroundings of The Crowne Plaza Hotel in East London’s trendy Docklands.
London is a melting pot of ethnic diversity; which is why an exhibition such as this is much needed. With a dedicated website which serves as an interactive e-channel for brides and grooms from all ethnic backgrounds, Brides of Culture goes beyond the usual, mainstream wedding planning portals.
Its founders, Abi Laditan and Kemi Osinloye, discovered that there was
a definite niche in the wedding planning sector through their own
experiences. From planning their own ‘Big Days’, they found that it was
extremely difficult for brides and grooms from ethnic backgrounds to
have easy access to information related to their culture. So it is
fitting that this event does just that! It brings together wedding professionals and service providers offering advice and expertise for culturally specific needs.
Founded in 2009, BoC aspires to be the largest Afro-Caribbean focused Bridal Exhibition in the UK. Its website provides useful tips, information and advice as well as details of local and regional vendors to meet the wedding needs of a diverse mix of brides and grooms; from across Africa, the Caribbean, and Asia. The Brides of Culture Bridal Exhibition soon became a much needed addition to the e-channel; attracting wedding vendors who were keen to tap into this niche market. The Brides of Culture Bridal Exhibition held in October 2011 attracted over 300 delegates and 25 major wedding suppliers.
The testimonials and feedback from delegates and vendors alike have
encouraged Abi and Kemi to make the Brides of Culture Bridal Exhibition
March 2012, even bigger and better than ever before. The fifth
exhibition will have an estimated 500 delegates in attendance and
capacity for up to 25 wedding suppliers.
