How to get people to subscribe to your blog and post comments? As well as how to manage IT ALL! I am talking about the FB, Twitter, Blog Posts, Blog comments, Reading Blogs that I subscribe to, I can go on and on - at times this whole social media phenomenon is overwhelming and I would like to throw my computer out the nearest window. But really Christine, I look forward to your well thought out advice!!!!

I link Twitter and Facebook so I just have to do one post. However, I think that doing the two in one post decreases traffic on Facebook. Here is a link to my photography page, come on over and become a fan! https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/wwwphotographybyjulienet/96079485011
Hello Christine,
I am very active with Social Media and have found it to be very useful. I have not jumped into using promote this post. Would like a little guidelines in this area. Have you found it to be productive and not sure which post are the right ones to promote. Any help from Christine or fellow vendors would be great.
My biggest problem with Facebook is that I have near 4,000 fans/ likes and usually and average of 25- 300 will see my post unless I promote it. Even promoting doesn't mean more people will see it. What is the purpose of people likeing my page if they will not see my posts?
I have never been successful in using my business FB page, http://www.facebook.com/rgunterphotography. There are technical issues with my page that include my fans not being able to view my posts and I am not able to get the latest posts by other business I like until I open and close the page numerous times. In addition when I ask clients to "Like" my page, they do not do it. So far, this has been a big waste of time. I do not try to sell anyone on my page and only post humorous items in my life and images from my latest shoot which the client never tags! Very frustrating.
I have started advertising with Facebook. Since I have such a niche market is it better to advertise directly with them to try and pinpoint my clients or to use a service that builds traffic for a set price? Where can my limited advertising money be best spent?
Thanks and I can't wait to see your course!

Hi Christine,
I can't wait to learn how to be successful on FB - if I post too often, I seem to loose "Likes" so I don't post that often. Plus most of my fans that are interactive with me are friends of mine - I would love to interact with brides and share some fun things but just not sure how to get on their radar. Any suggestions are most welcome!
Many thanks!
Sharon
Personally I think Facebook is overrated , I do have a page which i update once in a while and a promo page to supplement.
I get better results with my website and advertising in Magazines, off and online.
Big business are pulling out of Facebook as they don't get the results they were expecting...
Take care
Gerard
Christine, thank you so much, my question is which one is more functional, creating a facebook page from your personal facebook account or to create a business page like your personal page. I see companies that create a business page with birth date etc (like you would a personal page), and they are more interactive and have a lot of fans.Secondly I have had companies offer to manage my social media for a fee with a certain amount of posts, tweets and blogs a week, in your experience does it work.

Christine, I always appreciate your insights. The most frustrating thing for me is keeping up with all the tech changes. It took me two hours recently to learn and use the newer app for tabs (not that they're even called tabs anymore). It will be a long time before I would set aside the time to put up a new cover page.
At this point, I'm most interested in how to maximize the impact to the facets of Facebook that are easy to implement, even if Facebook changes the way they appear on the page, like the timeline.
