Personally, I love Twitter better than Facebook. It's easier to reach out to people and get instant response. I mostly use Twitter to connect to other professionals, celebrities and news sources. Like all social media platforms, you can't force it or make it obvious. Social media should be 80% information/engagement and 20% promotion. You shouldn't be trying to sell, sell, sell all the time. But rather, put out relevant and interesting content to keep your followers engaged.
