When my oldest son got married a few years ago I didn't want to do the standard mon & son dance songs, I wanted something very special. Something that would say all the things I had in my heart. I searched for months and finally found this song; "A Song For My Son" located on Volumn 2 of New Wedding traditions, produced by Steve Moser. The words tell of the little boy growing up and now taking a wife, and the advice mother is giving him. The first time I heard it it made me cry and I know immediately that it was the perfect song.
We are also having issues finding a mother/son song...Some of the suggestions that were made to me:

Perfect Fan - Backstreet Boys
I'll Be - Reba McEntire
My friend Alan Dodson pretty well covered the list. Here at Moonlight Mobile Muisc I have a high quality notebook in which I have large lists of songs for various events I'm constantly updating these list as I frequently have clients who are in a quandry about appropriate songs for their events. We simply open the book, look over the song list, and they usually will find the right song to fill their needs and tastes. Sorry, the book's not for sale. :)
How about a Custom Song for the Mother & Son dance!
