A little about yourself and what you have to offer this wedding community?
I am a newlywed in the very beginning stages of setting up my own business as a wedding consultant. I plan on offering a variety of packages for planning and coordinating for brides of the LDS/Mormon religious affiliation in the San Diego and Orange County region. I saw a need during my engagement when I wanted someone who understood the unique culture of my church, someone who wasn't necessarily a 25+ years' experience planner who would take over too many details and someone who would not be too costly. I searched the web to see if there was someone with a similar service in my region and I have not found anything. After talking with my husband, family and friends, I feel very confident in selling myself to several brides. I feel that EVERY bride needs at least a coordinator for the big day or the week of so that their family and close friends can relax and enjoy the day.
I have started researching as much as I can as well as interviewing and surveying friends in my church who are married and engaged to determine my market. I was excited when I found BridalTweet and thought it would be a perfect way to network, learn about the industry and sharpen my skills. I am excited to be here!
