A little about yourself and what you have to offer this wedding community?
I am an award winning wedding officiant, professional speaker, author and relationship coach (& Wedding Blogger). I've been performing "romantic" wedding ceremonies since 2002. I post something new about weddings every 4th day on my Wedding BLOG. As of today, there are 185 articles, tips, creative ideas for "add on" ceremonies, etc., about weddings. My Wedding Website has about 455 pages. I am happy to share any of my ideas to help brides and grooms have a very special day!

A Bright Idea for Seating the Parents of the Bride and Groom

This idea falls into the category of "Why didn't I think of this before??!!" ;-)

Tradition says the parents of the bride sit in the front row on the left side and the parents of the groom sit in the front row on the right side.

Interviewing a Wedding Officiant? - Bring Lots of Questions!

I recently had a meeting with a couple who were searching for the right wedding officiant. I was impressed.



Never having been married before, they brought a list of questions that helped both of us to get to know each other better. They interviewed me, not the other way around. Some of their questions led to discussions of other areas of the ceremony that kept the conversation centered on what they needed to know to make an informed decision.
