Kona Tanning Company has seen numerous benefits to working in Hollywood and Fashion, but what we love most is what we learn about optical illusions - from behind the camera! One of our favorite Hollywood producers explained that our tan allowed for consistent skin tone in his cast, tricking the eye into believing the two main characters had a deeper emotional relationship. In other words, when filming or photographing, having the same undertones in your skin as your counterpart results in the feeling of a deeper connection.

In homage to this theory, Kona Tanning now offers couples tanning appointments, because it just doesn't get any better than tanning together. We recommend getting a patch test or trial tan at least two weeks prior to tanning for the big day. Brides, please schedule your tans no sooner than three days before your wedding day.
