A little about yourself and what you have to offer this wedding community?: Here at Firstlight Photography we are all about the blog and we just love yours! We are very active in our business community. We like to network and develop ways that we can promote our many friends' companies. In the process we have a whole new social circle; it is wonderful to be able to have such positive forces in our lives. Dinner parties take on a whole new life with this type of group!

Kier and I help other businesses start blogs and we are in the process of having our website redesigned. It too will have a section for brides/grooms to build a blog.

We are a husband and wife team (Kier and Mitzi) and we love what we do. We have so much fun getting to know our wedding couples. We offer engagement, boudoir, bridal shoots, trash the dress and anything else our couples need. We offer full day coverage of events. It is their day so we go out of our way to be flexible and let them get what they want.

Our packages include extensive post production work. Kier is our Photoshop expert and he has of late been playing around with texture overlays on our prints. Our brides love this effect so we will be doing more. We also fuse photos and music and make wonderful video montages. We also love the art of the wedding book. We get to know the couples' tastes so we can build the right book. Some are more vintage, some modern and some just wonderfully quirky. Brides and grooms get to be a part of the book making process so we make sure their book is perfect for them. There is nothing cookie cutter about us or our couples.

We find that we attract a certain clientele. Since we are so down to earth and since it shows that we have fun at work, we get the nicest couples. They are fun, adventurous, sometimes quirky or downright offbeat. This makes for awesome pics!

In addition to wedding photography we also do corporate, maternity, senior and whatever other photography needs our clients have.

We can offer this wedding community a positive voice, beautiful photography and blogs that are geared for the bride as well as other vendors. When we launch our new website we will have our own dedicated wedding blog. We have a series of blogs that are coming up that are geared to provide the bride useful advice and tips. They range from guest blogs on the latest in skin care advice to the latest in total diva glam eyelash extensions (what fun bridesmaids/bride parties these make). We also like to educate what to look for when you select your photographer. Many couples never think to ask us about post production work and if it is included. We love to talk about this! Kier is planning to also share some of his Photoshop tips for other photographers and he likes to talk about his must have equipment and latest gadgetry.
